Dwyane Wade Wasn't Always Tall Enough For The NBA
Dwyane Wade has a listed height of 6 feet and 4 inches (6 ft 4 in) or 1.93 meters. He also has a listed weight of 220 pounds or 100 kilograms. He started playing for Miami in 2003 as a rookie and he has played with that team ever since.
Wade was a part of his high school’s varsity team but during his first few years in high school, he did not have that much playing time. In fact, his step brother was the star of his high school basketball team. It was only in his second year in high school that he was finally noticed because he kept getting taller and taller.
As a consequence, there was also an increase in his playing time. He helped bring his high school in winning their games by setting records in his game points, rebounds and assists. He attracted many scouts because of his talent but only few colleges and universities were able to recruit him because of certain academic problems.
He played for Marquette University during his college and he was also able to bring his college into greater heights. He is both tall and very talented in the basketball court.
